Hólika Castillo is a bilingual financial professional committed to supporting diverse communities.  She holds a CPA Degree from Universidad Panamericana, Mexico City. She also has finance studies from Harvard Business School. After moving to Colorado in 2000, she obtained an MBA from Regis University with emphasis in International Business. 

Her professional experience includes working for companies such as IBM, US Bank and Wells Fargo. 
Ms. Castillo has been training and consulting as part of ATC for the past five years in small business practices, access to capital in real estate and financial literacy. 

For the past two years Holika has been the lead train-the-trainer of the FDIC Money Smart curriculum, under contract by ATC to serve the University of Washington.

Original from Mexico, Hólika hails from a long lineage of teachers.  Her parents own and operate an academic institution in Pachuca, Mexico, where Holika worked in the family business for many years of her life becoming to the United States. 

In her family's business, she was a hands-on manager and performed myriad tasks, including cleaning, accounting, teaching, negotiating new contracts with vendors, marketing their school.  She is a true Renaissance woman.  She is married to Gerry Porraz, a famous musician, also from Mexico City.

Hólika possesses an excellent ability to provide course participants with professional and personable class instruction; always ensuring that each participant clearly understands the course content.

Guadalupe Moran is a trainer and
consultant with

Her areas of expertise are in management
control systems, customer service systems,
and in foreign trade – import/export.  

Guadalupe is a result driven professional
with extensive experience in global business
management, international operations and
technical and customer service operations. 
Her background on systems, process re-engineering, and supporting areas from quote to cash, includes logistics and import/export compliance.

Guadalupe has worked for some of the largest multinational corporations like USACELL, AT&T, Lucent Technologies and Avaya, Inc.  She has worked in Europe, Latin America, Canada and Mexico developing and implementing, distribution centers to provide customer service and logistics to export/import telecommunications equipment and services. 

Guadalupe moved to Denver Colorado 14 years ago, as part of the International Business Executive Program and Global Marketing, Executive Program from the AT&T School of Business in New Jersey.  She holds a BA in International Business. 

She has worked as a contractor for the Drug Enforcement Administration using her bilingual skills to perform a job which the primary function is to gather intelligence in an effort to further the investigation to accomplish the ultimate goal at assisting the DEA in accomplishing its mission.

Guadalupe was awarded Confidential/Classified security clearance in support of bilingual DEA operations activities.

She worked during 4 years for National Credit Check managing training and educational program on how to create or improve your credit.  She hosted and produced a Radio show for the Hispanic community “Salud para tu Credito” (Health for Your Credit).

She has performed as a trainer and consultant with Agnes Talamantez Carroll for the past six years and has been personally mentored by Ms. Talamantez Carroll in addressing the challenges of small businesses; and, trained and consulted small businesses with Ms. Talamantez Carroll at Mi Casa Resource Center for Women.  She is also is a co-host of ¡Arriba Mi Negocio! Radio show, a small business educational product of Agnes Talamantez Carroll & Associates. 

Guadalupe’s passion is to dedicate her knowledge, experience and efforts to support the Hispanic community and small business owners at creating or expanding their business.

Agnes Talamantez Carroll is the President of Agnes Talamantez Carroll & Associates, LLC ("ATC").  ATC is a firm that trains and consults bilingually, focusing on business and Latino affairs, and bridges understanding between American and Hispanic business cultures. 

Agnes  was the Director of three SBA funded Women’s Business Centers from 1994 to 2004, and managed a $3.1 million budget, secured funding for the centers, and directed the daily operations of these multi-site locations.

  • Agnes gained national recognition in 1995 when First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton visited her classroom to observe a best practice model in progress.
  • The United States Small Business Administration (SBA) awarded the Women in Business Advocate of the Year to Agnes in 2000.

  • The Denver Business Journal also honored her with their prestigious Outstanding Woman in Business award 2000.
  • Agnes has been named a Who's Who 2004-2005 of Business Executives and Hispanic Business.

  • Most recently she was honored with the Entrepreneur of the Year 2005 by Adelante Mujer.

  • In 2006, the Denver Hispanic Chamber of Commerce recognized her work by awarding her with the Bernard Valdez Hispanic Heritage Community Service Award. 

  • Also in 2006, the Archdiocese of Denver and at Centro San Juan Diego awarded Agnes the Las Madrina Award, the “Godmother” of the Hispanic community for her work with the Spanish-speaking immigrant.
  • Minority Enterprise Week Advocate of the Year 2009, and again in 2010, at a regional and national level
  • 2010 Edition of “Who's Who among Executives and Professionals"
  • 2009, 2010 finalist for the “Hispanic Adult Leadership Award” given by the Colorado Rockies Baseball Club
